"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" Hebrews 4:12

Forgiveness
A dear sister in Christ once told me that if you have truly learnt to forgive, you have achieved much! That statement has never left me since then. All of us struggle with forgiveness and nobody is an exception here. Yes! It is difficult to forgive someone who has sinned intentionally against us and does not care. It hurts!
I struggle with this often. But this verse reminds us of how we have been forgiven in Christ. Let's think about our own sinful lives and how much we have offended Our Holy God and still do. It is a fearful place to be. But thanks be to God that we are completely forgiven in Christ. What a precious gift!
If Christ has freely forgiven me, why am I holding back?? Let's give back what has been given freely to us. Forgiveness!!! Let's continue to forgive one another continuously just as our Savior continues to do so with us.

Arrrgh... its so difficult na when u hear the truth( n especially if its convicting u of an area in which u r strugglin in)...man thats hw m feelin right now...everytime i think i cant forgive someone, becoz i feel that person has offended me(and how great basically i am), i have to remember the that the Lord has forgiven my sins... n if i proclaim to be a tru christian and i have experienced christ's forgiveness, i should do the same(but m tellin ya, sometimes i dont feel like..hee hee.. i know m a wicked girl)
I know how exactly u feel coz the focus is so much on ourselves (sinners that we are..) But think of God so Holy and Righteous and how offended He must be and yet so freely He forgives us in Christ. Forgiveness from God is a privilege we enjoy but so often taken for granted!
The only way and I guess the best way to glorify Our Father is being like like His Son and forgive others freely. We are most like Jesus when we forgive others. Isn't that a wonderful opportunity to be like Him??
